Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide at one flat price at every dose. Lowest prices need a prepaid annual plan, and orders are final once prescribed. Compare all programs →

Trimi (trytrimi.com) is a US telehealth company that prescribes compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide for weight loss, with one flat price at every dose. This Trimi review covers what you actually pay, the refund rules most people miss, how it differs from TrimRx, and who it suits. Prices and policies in this review were checked on Trimi’s own website on October 3, 2026.

Quick answer: is Trimi legit?

Yes. Trimi is a real, operating telehealth business. It names its prescribing network (Arora Health) and its two 503A compounding pharmacies (BelieveRx and GreenwichRx), publishes its prices and refund policy, and serves all 50 states. Its lowest prices ($99 a month for semaglutide, $125 a month for tirzepatide) only apply to a 12-month plan paid upfront, and the medication is compounded, which means it is not FDA-approved. Read the refund rules before you pay: once a clinician writes your prescription, the order is final.

How much does Trimi cost?

Trimi’s headline prices are real, but they are monthly equivalents of a prepaid plan, not monthly bills. The $99 semaglutide price is $1,188 charged once for 12 months, and the $125 tirzepatide price is $1,500 charged once. If you want to be able to stop at any time, the month-to-month plan is the one to compare: $175 a month for semaglutide or $235 a month for tirzepatide.

Trimi says its annual, 6-month and quarterly plans are commitments for their full term, and only the month-to-month plan can be stopped at any billing cycle. Its FAQ also says annual plans do not renew automatically; to continue, you need a provider check-in and a new plan.

The flat price is the strongest part of the offer. Many programs charge more as your dose goes up, or add a separate membership fee on top of medication. Trimi lists no membership fee, so the plan price is the all-in price. For context on how other programs structure their fees, see our Mochi Health review, our cheapest legit GLP-1 options without insurance and the full GLP-1 cost guide.

Compounded, not FDA-approved: what that means

Everything Trimi prescribes is compounded. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by a pharmacy for an individual patient. They contain the same active ingredient as Wegovy or Zepbound, but they are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. Trimi states this clearly on its own treatment pages.

Trimi names its pharmacies, which is a good sign. Before you pay any compounded program, ask which pharmacy will fill your prescription and check that pharmacy’s license with the state board of pharmacy. Our guide to checking a compounded GLP-1 supplier explains how, and compounded vs brand-name semaglutide covers the current FDA rules. If you would rather have a brand-name pen, Trimi is not the right fit; look at manufacturer self-pay pharmacies or a program that prescribes FDA-approved products.

Trimi refund and cancellation rules

This is the section to read twice. According to Trimi’s refund policy (last updated September 29, 2026):

  • You pay at checkout, before a clinician reviews you. If the clinician decides treatment is not appropriate, Trimi says the order is refunded in full.
  • Before your prescription is written, you can cancel for a full refund.
  • Once a clinician signs your prescription, the order is final. Trimi says compounded medication is patient-specific and cannot be returned, even if it has not shipped.
  • Damaged or missing packages must be reported within 24 hours.

Trimi also offers a 6-month money-back promise, but the conditions are strict. You must complete six continuous months on a paid plan, take the medication exactly as prescribed, complete provider check-ins, and log a starting weight and a six-month weight in the patient portal. The refund applies only if there is no net weight loss between those two logged weights, and you must request it within 30 days of the six-month mark. Trimi describes it as a commercial commitment, not a medical guarantee. In practice, it protects you against a total non-response, not against slower-than-hoped results.

Pros and cons

What Trimi does well

  • One flat price at every dose, with no separate membership or consultation fee
  • Among the lowest published compounded GLP-1 prices when you take the annual plan
  • Named pharmacies and a named clinician network, so you can verify who fills and who prescribes
  • Clear, published refund policy, including a full refund if you are not prescribed
  • Available in all 50 states, with free cold-chain shipping

What to watch out for

  • Compounded medication only: not FDA-approved, and no brand-name option
  • The lowest prices require paying for 12 months upfront
  • Orders become non-refundable once the prescription is written
  • The money-back promise has strict, all-or-nothing conditions
  • No insurance billing, so it will not help if your plan covers Wegovy or Zepbound

Who Trimi suits, and who should skip it

Trimi may suit you if you are paying cash, you are comfortable with a compounded medication after discussing it with a clinician, and you are confident you will stay on treatment long enough for a longer plan to make sense. People who dislike surprise price jumps at higher doses will appreciate the flat pricing.

Skip Trimi if you want an FDA-approved brand-name product, your insurance may cover a GLP-1 (check our insurance coverage guide first), or you are not ready to commit money for several months. If you are unsure, the month-to-month plan costs more but lets you stop.

Trimi vs TrimRx: not the same company

The names are similar, but Trimi (trytrimi.com) and TrimRx (trimrx.com) are separate companies. Trimi itself publishes a note saying they are unaffiliated, with different pricing, pharmacies and clinicians. Double-check the website address before you sign up. For the other company, read our TrimRx review.

How Trimi compares

Trimi competes on price and simplicity. Programs such as Ro and Hims offer larger, more established platforms and, in some cases, help with brand-name medication through insurance. Membership-based programs like Mochi Health add coaching or dietitian access but charge a membership fee on top of medication. If you want to compare side by side, start with our best GLP-1 weight loss programs ranking and the best tirzepatide programs comparison.

One more note: Trimi publishes its own ranking articles that place Trimi first. That is common in this industry, but treat any company’s ranking of itself with caution and compare the published prices and refund terms yourself.
