GLP1Hub publishes information about GLP-1 medications. It is not a healthcare provider, and nothing here is medical advice.
What this site is
Reference material, written to help you understand your treatment, your coverage and your options well enough to have a better conversation with the people actually treating you.
It is not a substitute for that conversation. We do not know your history, your other medications, your test results or your circumstances. Your prescriber does.
Decisions that are not ours to make
Whether a medication is appropriate for you. What dose to take. When to increase, hold, reduce or stop. Whether to change one medication because of another. Whether a symptom needs investigating.
Every one of those belongs with a clinician who knows you. Where our articles discuss doses or schedules, they describe what product labelling says and what is generally done, not what you should do.
Never do these because of something you read here
- Start, stop or change the dose of any prescribed medication
- Delay seeking medical attention for a symptom that worries you
- Take a medication prescribed for someone else
- Use a product obtained outside a licensed pharmacy
If you have an emergency
Call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department. Do not wait, and do not use this website to decide whether a serious symptom is worth attention. If you are unsure, that uncertainty is itself a reason to be seen.
If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, help is available now. In the US you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.
Accuracy and currency
Medicine changes. Product labelling is revised, regulatory positions move, and coverage rules are rewritten annually. We date our articles and review them, and we may still be behind. Check current prescribing information and speak to your prescriber or pharmacist before acting on anything.
Commercial relationships
