In short

Online GLP-1 options with no membership fee in 2026: NovoCare and LillyDirect self-pay, pay-per-visit care and flat-price programs, plus what to check.

By Alsen Walker · Updated October 6, 2026

Many online GLP-1 programs charge a monthly membership on top of the medication, which can add $100 to $150 a month to your bill. If you want to avoid that, there are a few routes with no separate membership fee. Checked in early October 2026; confirm current terms before you sign up.

What is a GLP-1 membership fee?

A membership (or program fee) pays for clinician visits, messaging and coaching. Medication is often billed separately. A program that advertises “$99 a month” may mean the membership only, with the medication costing more. Always add the two together, and check whether the price rises as your dose increases.

Which GLP-1 options have no membership fee?

OptionMedicationHow you pay
NovoCare Pharmacy (Novo Nordisk)Wegovy pill $149 to $299; Wegovy pen $199 intro then $349Per fill, with a valid prescription
LillyDirect (Eli Lilly)Zepbound $299 to $449 by dosePer fill, with a valid prescription
Walgreens Weight ManagementBrand-name GLP-1sPay per visit, no subscription
TrimiCompounded semaglutide or tirzepatideOne flat price that includes care; prepaid plans are cheapest
BetterMe RxCompounded GLP-1sNo membership fee

Manufacturer pharmacies sell the medicine but you still need a prescription. You can get one from your own doctor, from a pay-per-visit telehealth service, or through a program. See each program’s details in our GLP-1 program directory and our Trimi review.

Is a no-membership GLP-1 program cheaper?

Not always. A program with a membership may include dose adjustments, follow-up visits and side-effect support that you would otherwise pay for per visit. Compare the total monthly cost at your maintenance dose, not the starting price. Our GLP-1 cost calculator adds medication, membership, visit and shipping fees together.

What should you check before you sign up?

  • Is the medication FDA-approved brand-name or compounded? Compounded versions are not FDA-approved.
  • Does a licensed clinician in your state review your health history before prescribing?
  • Does the price rise with your dose?
  • Are longer plans billed upfront, and when does an order become non-refundable?
  • Who answers your questions about side effects between visits?
